Thompsons Plant & Garden Centres are a family run Garden Centre group consisting of four Retail sites. We specialise in supplying our garden centres with our very own plants and Christmas trees, grown on our own nursery's in the south-east.
We are looking to recruit some new enthusiastic and energetic customer focused individuals to join our team.
You will be expected to help in all aspects of the day to day running of the Tills, tasks will include, but not limited to; serving customers on the till, answering telephones, Taking orders, picking stock for collection from online orders, replenishing of impulse stocking lines, checking deliveries as they come in, merchandising, keeping shop and till area clean and tidy and pricing stock as it comes in.
This job can be hard work; there is some lifting, and manual labour involved.
To help us meet the demands of a high customer flow, whilst giving great, consistent, customer service, you must be able to work at speed.
The current positions we are looking to fill are for a seasonal assistants this may involve both weekdays and weekends or just weekends, so please make sure before you apply that you are available to work weekends.
You would be provided with a uniform and any necessary training to ensure you quickly become a valued member of the team. You Would just need to provide the smile.
pay is minimum wage for your age bracket.

Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
