WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK) is based in Redhill, Surrey and provides motor finance to a network of dealerships throughout the United Kingdom.

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to manage the workstream for the development and delivery of Risk, Residual Value setting and Pricing management requirements for a business-critical project expanding our Contract Hire and Leasing offering. This role will manage the development and delivery of the programme lifecycle through to go-live and post-launch.

Please note that whilst this is a hybrid role at least 2 days a week are required in the Redhill office and according to project needs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the lead for the Risk, Residual Value (RV) and Pricing workstream of the Programme, engaging with business and programme stakeholders as required
  • Document business detailed processes and requirements
  • Gain business and key stakeholder buy-in to requirements
  • Play an active role in the requirements gathering, implementation and testing processes clearly documenting business requirements so that all parties can understand, assess options, evaluate supplier demonstrations, validation against requirements and performing gap analysis
  • Share and seek feedback on output from key stakeholders
  • Manage changes to business requirements including full impact analysis
  • Support the business in defining (and where appropriate executing) test plans including creating test scenarios
  • Work with the end users to support transition to BAU and to work with the new solution
  • Negotiate and influence stakeholders and manage resolutions where conflicts arise
  • Understand and contribute to project plans and implement agreed actions in a timely manner
  • Adhere to the agreed project methodology and provide feedback where appropriate
  • Proactively provide project support to the programme manager and wider teams
  • Manage project risks and issues
  • Deal with or escalate any identified risks in relation to Santander Consumer risk policies and/or legislative and regulatory guidelines in accordance with the Santander UK group risk framework

What we’re looking for:

  • Significant practical experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience of delivering projects to time, quality and budget
  • Previous experience in a Risk Change environment defining business requirements, gap analysis processes, testing and implementation
  • Experience with design and documentation of business processes and procedures
  • Able to work within Waterfall and Agile project management frameworks
  • Strong business process mapping (Visio) and analysis experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with all stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work across multiple initiatives adjusting to shifting priorities
  • Experience of Leasing / Contract Hire is desirable
