This is a truly exciting area that is trail blazing a new approach to transformation, with a consortium of delivery and consultancy partners.
We're looking for a professional who is nurturing in their approach, brings Agile to life for their teams and is a people person who sees their team members as humans - each with their own individual strengths. You'll be supported by your Chapter Lead and Business Agility Lead, and will support less experienced Scrum Masters in the lab. You’re encouraged to contribute to the community, sharing knowledge and great practice.
As a Scum Master, you’ll:
- Support the Team and Lab to utilise Agile frameworks (Scaling, Scrum, Kanban etc) and Agile events (Scrum of Scrums, PI planning, retrospectives etc)
- Help the Product Owner to run an effective Product Backlog
- Guide the team to break work into small, discrete pieces of value or learning, coaching and empowering to self-manage, utilise feedback for continuous learning and improvement
- Coach and support the team to identify blockers / barriers to effective delivery and remove these.
- Promote best practices in refinement, prioritisation, partner engagement and introducing tools and techniques.
- Enable the team to understand and visualise the optimal sequence of work, measure and understand their performance through metrics (throughput, cycle time, happiness etc) and use this as the basis for their improvement activity.
