- Literate and credible. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (listening, influencing and persuasiveness), capable of managing Product Owner expectations and messaging in an Agile way, and dealing effectively with all levels of staff.
- Clear and accurate reporting skills, bringing honesty and above all demonstrable results and working software to the highest level stakeholders, in understandable language.
- Thorough planner and self-manager, with experience of planning within a Scrum environment and guiding teams to manage their own time. Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
- Ability to use Agile metrics (backlog tracking, burndown velocity) to drive delivery efficiency.
- Understanding of the business change impacts of Scrum work and delivery. Experience of holding Product Owners accountable for the delivery of roadmaps and interdependencies.
- Experience of managing technical suppliers from both a delivery and performance point of view, as well as working with internal service transition teams to move products into business-as-usual ownership.
