The successful candidate for the above role will retain their current employer, i.e. if you are a Jaguar employee you will continue to be administered on the Jaguar grading structure with the associated terms and conditions. If you are currently on BAC or EMC terms, you will retain your current employer but will transfer to a JLR contract and the associated terms and conditions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The role will be based within the Electrical & Vehicle Engineering (EVE) Centre Of Competence, and part the team based within the Assisted & Automated Driving (AAD) Domain. We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master, to be part of an experienced, energetic high performing Agile organisation, who operate effectively within a complex and innovative stakeholder landscape.
Your primary responsibilities will be to support teams to evolve into high performing agile teams. You will enable their self organisation capabilities and work with PO’s and other stakeholders to ensure attainable goals are set and delivered by your team. You will also be actively involved in mentoring and supporting other Scrum Masters across the business and a key player in the Community of Practice.

In addition to the Scrum Master responsibilities, the role expects you be integral to the team’s duties and day to day activities. Knowledge of Quality processes and metrics will be highly advantageous. Previous interaction and working with processes like 8D, Fishbone diagrams, DFMEA, PFMEA and 5 WHYs would be very useful to the role and would help integrate well into the team.
Your knowledge of component and system design will be necessary as well as the lifecycle of vehicles from concept through to customer interation.
You should have some knowledge of key metrics that are used to measure quality, irrespective of aitomotive specifics in order to understand how to measure success or failure.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
This role will provide you with the opportunity to significantly influence the ADAS Domain direction, including:- Educating and coaching Agile best practices
- Supporting teams in removing impediments
- Enabling teams to deliver business objectives
- Ensures the voice of the teams is heard and understood
- Generate and share reports on team performance, objectives and forecasts
- Manage external product dependencies
- Mentor and support other scrum masters
- Lead some areas withing the Quality squad based on your capabilities and interests
- Support the team with Quality led abilities when required as the team’s bandwidth changes
- Present out appropriate technical / Quality findings to stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
The role will fit you best if you have an experienced technical analyst background, including:- Significant Scrum Master Experience
- Significant experience working in a technical environment with cross functional teams
- Signficant experience of facilitating all scrum ceremonies impeccably while adapting them to meet organisational and team needs appropriately
- Experience in mentoring others
- Ability to communicate with individuals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds and present content in a meaningful, clear and concise way
- Ability to coach teams to be self organising and consistent velocity
- Experienced with Agile Frameworks - (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFE…) and Agile planning tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Quality background and knowledge of processes and key metrics
- Automotive lifecycle from concept through to Delivery (and beyond) will be needed
- Agile practitioner certification an advantage (PSM, CSM, etc.)
- Understanding of Software Development processes and continuous delivery
- Fluent in English
