Job description
We're looking for a Scrum Master with a technical background to join us as a consultant at Expleo. You will working in a client facing role, across a range of sectors focused on defining and implementing digital transformations projects.
The Role:
You will be primarily responsible for leading projects for our client using available frameworks and tools establishing project road-maps with on-time and on-budget project goals. You will join our high performance team of experienced Scrum Master leaders and act as a senior providing professional advice, managing and/or co-ordinating an area in Scrum Master.
Responsibilities:In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Leading business consulting projects of moderate scope and sometimes complex assignments
- Fully understanding the capabilities and limitations of technical environments and translate business goals into tangible strategic outcomes
- Keeping informed on business data and implement solutions for technological and process improvements within the context of overall business processes
- Co-ordinating the information gathering and reporting process, reviewing trends and comparing to expectations. Identify relationships and linkages, anticipates issues and identifies root causes and effects
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and work across teams to achieve group goal
- Developing a network to support and add value to client engagements including company, clients and external professional networks
The ideal candidate for this Scrum Master role will have relevant experience of common management and reporting toolsets such as Azure DevOps, confluence and JIRA.
You'll also need experience of:
- Coaching development teams (including distributed teams) who are new to an Scrum Master software delivery approach
- Demonstrating lean thinking and an Scrum Master mind-set in how they work internally and externally
- Delivering Scrum Master training course to clients
- Applications/technology knowledge, building on specialist domain knowledge. Has practical experience of and is proficient with tools and frameworks required to deliver
- Contributing to delivery utilising multiple project management methodologies / framework, tools and techniques
- Design Thinking, Kanban, Big Room Planning, Lean Portfolio Management knowledge is beneficial
In addition, you'll need the following:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- A formal certification as a Scrum Master, kanban lead, lean six sigma certification or similar Scrum Master approach
- A certified scrum professional or a similar Scrum Master qualification
- The ability to communicate engagement progress and burn-down, risks and complex concepts to client and Expleo alike
- The ability to contribute to the creation of agreeable mitigation approaches for removing team blockers and risk resolution
- The ability to influence and negotiate with client stakeholders and senior leadership teams
- Excellent client-facing skills
- Team management skills - experience in leading multiple teams in Scrum Master software delivery approaches
You'll also need to be flexible to travel to client sites across the UK as required and be eligible for SC and BPSS clearance.
