As a Scrum Master you will act as a change agent with a passion for working with people and teams to help them maximise squad value. You will work with multi-discipline team(s), helping them to deliver value by facilitating coaching into a self-organised team. The role is part of Anti-Financial-Crime (AFC) Technology which provides the tools required by the AFC function.
AFC is responsible for defining, maintaining, and enforcing an effective risk management framework to reduce the risk that Deutsche Bank may be used to facilitate financial crime. Its role includes setting minimum standards and monitoring adherence to those standards, as well as defining and implementing controls that align with Deutsche Bank’s global legal requirements.

Your key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and Squad to ensure a healthy prioritised backlog is maintained
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies through a clear understanding of the aim of each event
- Help Squad to continuously improve the effectiveness of incremental delivery and take responsibility for their actions and identify inefficiencies in the Squad operation and remove impediments
- Live and promote an agile mindset and culture within the tribe
- Keep the status and progress of objectives, features up to date in JIRA and maintain Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) logs. Coordinate with release management to ensure successful features delivery in production
Your skills and experience
- Previous experience working in an agile environment, practicing Scrum, Kanban, eXPerience (XP) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Hands on experience to create and manage metrics like burndown, burnup, velocity, feature lead etc. and use them for improvements
- Agile Certification and practical implementation of Agile fundamentals, values and manifesto
- In-depth experience using tools such as JIRA, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Confluence, and Global Information Tracker (GIT)
- Leadership skills, facilitation, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, and transparency
