Duration: 6 months, with the possibility to extend

Rate: Competitive dependant on experience

Contract: Outside IR35

Location: Hybrid - Mostly remote working. with some on site work in London/Paris every 1-2 weeks

· PMP, Agile Scrum Master, SAFe, PRINCE2 or similar certification

· Experience in datacenter & application migration at scale including Cloud.

· Strong understanding of Kanban/Scrum/Agile methodology

We are seeking a Scrum Master / Cloud Migration, for our London Market/insurance client.

The Scrum master is responsible for managing a team in charge of end-to-end application migration in the Cloud. You will be part of the Cloud Migration team.

Responsibilities

· Lead daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives;

· Ensure teams adhere to Agile principles and practices.

· Identify and remove impediments that are blocking the team's progress.

· Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices.

· Monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.

· Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and leadership.

· Help the team to continuously improve and optimize their processes.

· Develop, maintain, and communicate metrics to drive improvement.

· Manage each projects scope and timeline.

· Be the point of contact for communications with various project stakeholders.

· Work with stakeholders to handle backlogs and new requests.

· Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.

· Create and Manage Jira Board /Confluence;

· Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.

· Migration of infrastructure and applications out of legacy data centers into Azure cloud (re-hosting, re-factoring, re-platforming) on PaaS, IaaS & CaaS (Openshift);

· Understand the infrastructure and application environment.

· Manage re-factoring/Re-platforming / Re-hosting of legacy applications and assisting in configuration, testing, deploying the applications.

· Automatic cloud infrastructure and application deployment which will eventually reduce the time and effort in provisioning and utilizing of infrastructure needed by application.

· Creating and tracking of issues in Jira and ensuring all change in requirement are documented in Jira.

· Identify planning, capacity & velocity risks, and establish required mitigation plans with program leadership.

· Establish resource plan to meet program objectives.

· Monitor and report progress against plan and adjust plan to ensure the project stays on track.

· Ensure project deliverables are high quality and are delivered on time.

· Conduct continuous improvement, optimising delivery by improving processes and outcomes.

· Provide leadership and direction in a positive and productive manner.

· Ensure transparency and trust by communicating and reporting regularly with stakeholders and teams.

Experience & Skills:

· 5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, RTE, PM or equivalent working experience.

· Bachelor's Degree or higher required and relevant work experience (PMP, Agile Scrum Master, SAFe, PRINCE2 or similar certification)

· Microsoft Azure certification are not required but would be highly desirable.

· Ability to quickly build relationships to navigate the organisation and clear the team's impediments.

· Outstanding communication, analytical, facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, coaching, and related soft skills;

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organisational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.

· Demonstrable core knowledge and skills regarding cloud technology.

· Experience in datacenter & application migration at scale including Cloud.

· Fluent in both written and spoken English.

· Ability to adapt to changing requirements, focus on iterative and incremental delivery.

· Strong understanding of Kanban/Scrum/Agile methodology;

· Customer orientation / added value, simplify in a complex organisation, autonomy and proactivity;

· Ability to listen and understand complex requirements, team spirit and willingness to share knowledge;

· Proven planning and organisation skills, creating work schedules, prioritizing workload, preparing in advance and setting realistic timescales.
