An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join their welcoming team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for leading the Agile Delivery Team.
The Scrum Master Role:
- Responsible for leading agile/lean practices
- To utilise tools and techniques in regards to agile/lean to meet business requirements
- To effectively manage the team with a clear project plan in place to meet business requirements
- To guide and advise members of the team and colleagues across the business to promote best ways of working
- To utilise your problem solving skills to overcomes issues that may hinder business requirements
- To manage risks to business requirements as well as managing budgets
- To review where necessary business processes and make changes to them to improve ways of working
What the Scrum Master will need:
- Strong experience with Agile/Lean
- Strong risk management skills
- Effectively deliver against the business requirements
- Good experience of leading a team and coaching individuals
- Good communication/facilitation skills
- Good motivations skills as well as managing team dynamics
- Good experience with reporting (eg. KPIs/delivery metrics)
