In this critical role within the Financial Crime CoE, you’ll be leading a team responsible for the maintenance of the screening product.
You’ll ensure processes and controls are designed and operating effectively to identify and minimise potential risk.
You’ll be part of a new organisational structure and will play a key role in supporting the Product Lead embed the function and aid its development as processes and systems are refined over time.

Leading the Name Screening BAU product team and coaching and developing analysts
Being responsible for the maintenance of the screening product, ensuring processes and controls are designed and operating effectively and identifying potential risk
Analysing the performance of the Screening end-to-end product through control / MI reports and raising issues and suggested actions
Using data modelling practices to analyse findings and implementing strategic and operational improvements and changes
Liaising with the List Management team to review upcoming list changes via interaction with Dow Jones as well as existing list issues
Producing regular MI reports on events to senior management, feeding into key governance meetings where appropriate
What you will bring .
Proven managerial experience with a track record of leading, supporting and developing a team
In depth Financial Crime knowledge combined with an understanding of data analytics and relevant tools such as SQL, SAS, Excel and Python
It would also be nice for you to have.
Experience using third party Name Screening tools such as Netreveal
Ability to quickly absorb and understand complex data/issues, to extract results and to present key conclusions.
Confident communicator with the ability to complete outputs for different audiences, including senior management
Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills

Our preferred location for this permanent role is Milton Keynes and you will be expected to spend 40% of your time in this office. We would also encourage you to apply if you are in a reasonable travel distance of Bradford, Glasgow or Sheffield.
