Summary of position
Cresset are seeking a committed and passionate scientist to join our rapidly expanding global team of drug discovery scientists.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out computational chemistry project work, delivering a diverse range of projects to Cresset Discovery customers
- Assist with writing and delivering proposals for Cresset Discovery opportunities
- Participate in customer conference calls and meetings – pre, during and post project
- Ensure customer data integrity and confidentiality
- Marketing contribution - writing blogs and case studies and delivering webinars
- Represent Cresset Discovery and attend conferences, seminars, and exhibitions
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in chemistry or a closely related field
- A PhD in a field of relevance to molecular modelling
- CADD experience, with 3+ years within a drug discovery environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- A dynamic and flexible approach towards achieving clients' objectives
- A demonstrable ability to deliver on multiple projects whilst meeting challenging deadlines
- An active interest in new technologies
Desirable
- Expertise on using free-energy methods for drug discovery projects
- In depth knowledge of both windows and Linux operating systems including scripting
- High performance computing experience

UK based, Hybrid, some work from UK office in Litlington SG8
