Summary of position

Cresset are seeking a committed and passionate scientist to join our rapidly expanding global team of drug discovery scientists.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out computational chemistry project work, delivering a diverse range of projects to Cresset Discovery customers
Assist with writing and delivering proposals for Cresset Discovery opportunities
Participate in customer conference calls and meetings – pre, during and post project
Ensure customer data integrity and confidentiality
Marketing contribution - writing blogs and case studies and delivering webinars
Represent Cresset Discovery and attend conferences, seminars, and exhibitions

Requirements

Degree or equivalent in chemistry or a closely related field
A PhD in a field of relevance to molecular modelling
CADD experience, with 3+ years within a drug discovery environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
A dynamic and flexible approach towards achieving clients' objectives
A demonstrable ability to deliver on multiple projects whilst meeting challenging deadlines
An active interest in new technologies

Desirable

Expertise on using free-energy methods for drug discovery projects
In depth knowledge of both windows and Linux operating systems including scripting
High performance computing experience
