Summary of position


Cresset are seeking a committed and passionate scientist to join our rapidly expanding global team of drug discovery scientists.


Key Responsibilities


  • Carry out computational chemistry project work, delivering a diverse range of projects to Cresset Discovery customers
  • Assist with writing and delivering proposals for Cresset Discovery opportunities
  • Participate in customer conference calls and meetings – pre, during and post project
  • Ensure customer data integrity and confidentiality
  • Marketing contribution - writing blogs and case studies and delivering webinars
  • Represent Cresset Discovery and attend conferences, seminars, and exhibitions

Requirements


  • Degree or equivalent in chemistry or a closely related field
  • A PhD in a field of relevance to molecular modelling
  • CADD experience, with 3+ years within a drug discovery environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • A dynamic and flexible approach towards achieving clients' objectives
  • A demonstrable ability to deliver on multiple projects whilst meeting challenging deadlines
  • An active interest in new technologies

Desirable


  • Expertise on using free-energy methods for drug discovery projects
  • In depth knowledge of both windows and Linux operating systems including scripting
  • High performance computing experience
