Schools Marketing Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Schools Marketing Executive to manage school bookings for three of our Midway attractions - LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham, SEA LIFE Birmingham and SEA LIFE Scarborough.

What we are looking for
This is entry level role, so whilst we don’t need you to have qualifications in the field, it is desirable that you are of graduate calibre and have:
- A background in education or teaching
- Confident speaking and communication skills
- Able to demonstrate commercial acumen in a consumer environment
- Working knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Word
- Experience of collaborative working with other functional managers
- Strong accountability, motivational and influencing skills
This is a varied entry level role, giving the successful candidate a chance to shape the education offering alongside some basic office duties. On a normal day (if you can call it that) you could find yourself booking in a school visit, supporting with some schools filming, calling a school to showcase our excellent school’s program, diary management or writing social and CRM copy and updating websites.
You’ll be the day-to-day contact for all school reservations therefore it is essential that you have a thorough understanding of the 3 attractions to be able to answer all questions. As part of your supporting role, you will be collating, delivering, and sharing key stats and up to date information regarding market conditions, competitor analysis and current trends, with accountability for developing the educational programme and for achieving contracted numbers.
This role is a fixed-term contract until the end of 2023, working full time. Predominantly working Monday to Friday.
