School Welfare Administrator – Ealing – ASAP Start
A popular and successful Ealing Secondary School are looking for a School Welfare Administrator to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm, term time only. The hourly pay for this role is £13- £16.

In recent years the school has been extended and developed with major building programmes. The school has a number of fully equipped computer rooms which have been upgraded this year and specialist design and technology classrooms and a newly refurbished Music suite, including five state of-the-art rehearsals rooms.
About the role:
The successful School Welfare Administrator will have a due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The Welfare Administrator will provide a good level of administrative and welfare duties as required.
- Lead first aider: to administer first aid to staff and pupils as required, in keeping with the school’s policy and order first aid supplies as necessary
- Maintain the paperwork for onsite medications and ensure any medications on site are within validity dates
- Liaise with the SENDCO and school nurse and arrange the necessary training for school first aiders relating to children’s medical needs, such as epi-pen, epilepsy, diabetes, etc
- To liaise with parents regarding pupils’ sickness/injury
- To assist with visits from the school nurse, dentist etc
- To assist with the general welfare of pupils
- Organise first aid resources for all off site excursions
- Maintain stock for the first aid resources
- Complete filing as required
- Data entry via SIMs
