Key Responsibilities
Our team of School Success Advisors ensure schools are on-boarded successfully, teachers are trained, IT technicians are supported and that schools get off to a superb start with our resources. They then support teachers as they use the resources and maintain excellent relationships to ensure good usage and lead towards advocacy. They are also responsible for up-selling products to existing customers. Full training is provided in these responsibilities so they are a guide to the role rather than a list of expertise. Further below you will find the skills and experience required.
- On-boarding new schools and collaborating with them on a Strategy to ensure the students and teachers can make the most of the programmes.
- Conducting webinars and onsite training with schools. (Onsite if and when required).
- Responding to queries from schools by email, on the phone and when necessary, in person.
- Supporting teachers with an in-depth understanding of the technical and pedagogical details of the programmes.
- Maintaining and developing CRM tools for school accounts. Tracking school and pupil engagement. Providing relevant management information through a weekly analysis.
- Building sales proposals for school leaders.
- Reflecting on and improving processes and resources, and contributing to team objectives.
- Staying informed about current trends in education.
- Providing feedback to the product team on what features will help to close new schools and/or are preventing deals from closing.
- Identifying and taking responsibility for areas of the team’s success where your skill set can contribute.
Salary and hours
Salary is £26,000- £30,000 basic pay per annum (depending on experience) + OTE.
Flexibility in working: minimum three days in the office with the option of up to two days working from home.
37.5 hours per week (typically Mon-Fri, 8.30-5 but some flexibility in start/finish and lunch times)
Start date: As soon as possible (but could be flexible for the right candidate)
Initial interviews will be held via Zoom, with second interviews being held in our Bath-based offices W/C 17th April.
Requirements
Experience
- You must be a qualified teacher with at least two years' teaching experience in the classroom (ideally primary as they form the majority of our school customers).
- Knowledge of, and strong interest in, education.
- Familiar with and interested in tech.
Competencies
- Ability to quickly build strong relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to liaise with the direct and wider teams and customers.
- Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone and in emails.
- Confidence to lead live webinars with groups of teachers.
- Ability to motivate and advise others.
- Sociable with cheerful and friendly manner.
- Superb organisation, efficiency, time management and prioritisation.
- Organised and thorough record keeping.
- An eye for detail: faultless spelling and grammar and good with numbers.
- Problem-solver and take satisfaction in improving processes.
- Enthusiastic about education and keen to learn about our programmes.
