School Receptionist
36 hours per week, Monday – Saturday,
Monday - Friday 07:00-13:00
Saturday 08:00-14:00
Responsible to: Office Manager

The Appointment
Responsibilities and Core Duties of the Post
· Working as part of a team, greet all visitors to the school with a smile and a warm welcome, signing visitors into and out of the premises in accordance with school policies
· Deal with incoming telephone calls quickly and efficiently, directing calls to the appropriate staff, taking clear & concise messages
. Handle peak periods in a calm manner, managing visitors to reception, incoming calls, messages via radios and the intercom
· Be aware of and comply with all school policies and procedures which include child protection, health, safety & security, confidentiality, and data protection.
- Undertake office administration tasks as required and directed by the Office Manager.
. This is an all year-round post, not term time only – holidays to be taken in school holidays.
Personal Specification
Excellent communication skills including being confident to exchange verbal information clearly and sensitively with both children and adults
Understand and respect the principles of confidentiality and policies
Good sense of humour
Cheerful, positive, friendly personality
This role would suit someone with office/retail/front of house experience or a person willing to learn a new role with training and guidance.

Salary: £10.55 per hour
