An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the School Nursing Team, working hours are Monday to Friday. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced or newly qualified band 5 nurse to join our developing, enthusiastic and dynamic School Nursing team. The post is a fixed term contract post with HMR school Nursing for 7 months and permanent within the Northern Care Alliance.

You'll bring us your skills, experience and knowledge, but also a passion for promoting public health. That means working as part of a team and building trusting relationships with children, young people and their families.
You will work collaboratively as part of the Multidisciplinary Team and support the physical health and emotional well being of children and young people.
You will also have a passion for promoting public health through early intervention.
Where necessary you will carry out home visits to children and families advising on all aspects of health as appropriate.
You will be responsible for your own professional updating and keeping abreast of current research based practice.
You will be able to develop a working knowledge and experience of IT systems.
