About the Role

This role is to provide a high-level, proactive, confidential, personal assistant, and management support to members of the School Executive Team at Nottingham Business School.

You will join the School Management Support (SMS) Team, who provide a comprehensive support service to senior Executives in the School, including the Executive Dean, Deputy Dean, Heads of UG and PG Programmes, Head of School Operations, Departmental Heads and Heads of various activities within the School.

The preferred candidate will have experience of working in a fast-paced management support environment, ideally within the Higher Education sector. The post involves liaising with a large range of internal staff across a number of departments, and a variety of external contacts, therefore excellent communication skills are essential. The post-holder will be expected to quickly seek to understand and maintain knowledge about the School.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly functions of email and calendar management, as well as the ability to prioritise their own/the teams workload and develop strong organisational, administrative and customer focused service skills with a focus on problem solving and high performance. The post requires an ability to respond positively to all aspects of change and to be effective in changing situations.
