The Job Role/Key responsibilities
This role is based in the Schools Finance Team, which provides financial support to over 600 schools across Lancashire.
The responsibilities include:
- supporting schools' leaders in financial management;
- supportively challenging schools in setting and maintaining balanced budgets;
- producing longer term financial forecasts and budget monitoring reports for school governors;
- reconciliation of financial management system.
The Job Requirements
Role holders will require a level of technical skill to provide direction to stakeholders.
You may be required to work from other locations and undertake, wherever required other responsibilities where this is commensurate with the post. We are working a mix of home and office working therefore you will be required to have a suitable working space within your home and broadband connection.
You will be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within the remit of your area of work, as directed by service management.
