Loughborough Amherst School is looking to appoint an experienced, well-qualified counsellor to provide a high-quality counselling service to pupils from a wide range of backgrounds experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties.
The successful candidate will join a multi-faceted team of pastoral and medical support within and outside of the school with an ability to establish and maintain supportive relationships with, and advocate on behalf of, students.
We are seeking an individual who holds a Diploma or Masters level qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy as well as Accreditation or registration with one of the recognised awarding bodies (BACP, UKCP etc.).
The position is term-time only, for 8 hours per week.
