Kiddie Academy has an immediate exciting opportunity for a patient, flexible and nurturing person to join us as a Full/Part time Afterschool Teacher. You’ll bring a caring attitude, creative nature, and excellent communications and collaboration skills to our passionate team of childcare professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. You’ll use your caring attitude, creative nature and excellent communication and collaboration skills in the classroom. Among your responsibilities will be: Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the daily planning, management, curriculum implementation, and supervision of the classroom and children. Is responsible for ensuring that all parents, children, and classroom staff concerns are appropriately addressed. Qualifications: Must be able to lift to 40 pounds on a regular basis. Must maintain required continuous education per the Texas Depart of Health and Human Services for childcare provider, CPR/FIRST AID for Adult, child and infant. Must have High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at lease 21 years old with a clean driving record. Able to drive a 14 passengers Kiddie Academy Vehicle to transport children. This position goes all summer and then will be transitioned into an after-school teacher in the fall. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children. Driving Kiddie Academy vehicle and transport children from their Elementary school to Kiddie Academy, and to Field trips. Is responsible for ensuring that all parents, children, and classroom staff concerns are appropriately addressed. Qualifications: · Must be able to lift to 40 pounds on a regular basics. . Must have a Valid Driver License with clear record and able to driver Kiddie Academy 14 passenger MFSB · Must maintain required continuous education per the Texas Depart of Health and Human Services for childcare provider, CPR/FIRST AID for Adult, child and infant. · Prefer candidate with CDA, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
