About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a School Admin Manager to join the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine and strategically lead a high-quality administrative service in the School of Allied Health, Social Work and Wellbeing. Working closely with Faculty and School senior leadership you will continually review and design effective processes that support full uptake of university business systems, ensure effective tracking of student activity, ensure compliance with professional and regulatory requirements, promote student retention and student feedback, and enhance the student experience.
Your excellence communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills will support a cohesive and integrated administrative service, promote cross-Faculty working, and ensure a positive culture of high performance.
The post will be face to face on Campus based at both Edge Hill University Ormskirk Campus and at St James Manchester Campus (Oxford Road). Occasional travel to other EHU sites such as Alder Hey/ Aintree may be required. Please see the job description for further information.
About You
As School Admin Manager you will:
- Have successful experience of working in Higher Education or an equivalent sector,
- Be experienced in the co-ordination and management of administrative functions,
- Have a dynamic approach to leadership and demonstrable experience of managing, engaging, and motivating high performance teams,
- Have excellent planning, prioritisation, and organisation skills, with experience of managing activities in parallel and delegating workloads,
- Be experienced in developing, introducing, and evaluating change initiatives,
- Have effective IT skills and a track record of managing, analysing, and reporting on complex data,
- Have a flexible, positive, can-do approach.
