Job Summary
This may include some or all of the following: scheduling patient appointments, retrieving insurance authorization for all surgeries, testing and procedures; maintaining and updating physician schedules. - People: Coordinates surgeries and information with other physician offices as needed; assembles patient charts and answers patient’s questions regarding surgery and testing.
- Service: Ensure that customer service targets are met.
- Quality: Responsible for validation of documentation as it relates to scheduling verification and authorizations
- Growth: Communicate and work well with physicians and department staff to accomplish assigned duties.
- Finance: Execute policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of the services while meeting departmental budget goals.

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma, GED or equivalent; OR post high school diploma.
Two years clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Medical terminology desired but not required. Word Processing and computer experience necessary.
