Bayside Health & Rehabilitation Center a 60 bed skilled rehab center in Virginia Beach is seeking a scheduler.

Scheduler Job Duties:

• The Scheduler prepares four-week staffing ratios, maintains monthly nursing schedules for the Nursing Services Department, responds to employees’ requests for time off, and maintains daily overtime logs.
• This person will serve as a role model by being a care and service champion.
• Maintain current telephone rosters for all nursing employee and monitors staff attendance including lateness, call-outs, and absenteeism.
• The scheduler will communicate effectively with Director of Nursing and Administrator daily. Also with the Staff Development Coordinator and Clinical Unit Managers regarding schedule changes needed for training and in-services.

Preferred Expeience:

Experience with staffing ratios and scheduling preferred.
