About Us
Hi, We’re William Martin and we are looking for an experienced Scheduler to join our friendly team of Schedulers here in Bromsgrove. About The Role
You’ll report directly to the Scheduling Team Leader, responsible for creating visit schedules for our Consultants. You’ll work within your initiative to arrange visits which will meet the needs of the client while ensuring maximum efficiency for the organisation.
You’ll nurture your relationship with our clients by understanding their needs, co-ordinating visits and ensuring consistent high quality service.
You’ll allocate appointments to the appropriate consultant depending on the visit type; whether that’s Fire Safety, Water, Asbestos or anywhere inbetween. You’ll build strong relationships with our Consultants in order to co-ordinate their diaries and distribute information as required. You’ll keep all of our scheduling systems fully up to date with the status of visits, demonstrating high efficiency in planning, organisation and task management.
About You

Ideally, you’ll have at least a year’s experience in scheduling, planning or diary management too, and knowledge of UK Geography/ Postcode areas would be a huge bonus too!
We’d love to see that you’re someone who thinks outside the box too, as sometimes you’ll need to think laterally to co-ordinate the scheduling activities. You’ll be able to work on your own initative and hold a pro-active approach to problem solving. In this role, it’s essential that you’re self-motivated and highly organised, able to prioritise your own workload in order to meet deadlines.
You’ll be dealing with Clients and Consultant on a daily basis, so you’ll need to be a clear and confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner. You’ll have excellent IT skills, to include all Office Products, specifically Excel, as well as general data-input experience. We’re keen on upskilling our employees too, so a willingness to learn new IT systems will get you ahead in this role!
