JOI has full-time openings for an Appointment Scheduler position in our Call Center Department (Point Meadows location). This is a full time position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K retirement plan.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Position Requirements:
- Prior customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
- Prior scheduling experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Prior call center experience a plus.
- Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service with a patient-care focus.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Computer proficient.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Essential Functions:
- Answer high volume incoming calls to coordinate and schedule patient appointments.
- Collect patient personal data and insurance information.
- Make calls to reschedule appointments when necessary.
- Answer questions and provide other information as requested.
- Direct calls to other departments as needed. Relay necessary messages to staff.
- Maintain the strictest patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
JOI staff is required to complete their COVID-19 vaccine series or obtain a medical or religious exemption by 11/15/2021 or at the time of hire after this date.
