We are a family owned business based in Thornton, Bradford, led by owner James Robertshaw. In 1974 the Farm Shop opened up as a standalone business and has been a clear asset to the community of Thornton, as the business has grown rapidly over the years which could have only happened because of our amazing and hard working team. Robertshaw’s still maintains a family spirit and atmosphere even as we have grown into business we are at present.
Our owner is very proactive in using renewable forms of energy, to minimize impact on the environment which we are very passionate about. We have wind turbines on the farm and recycle schemes in place to ensure nothing goes into a landfill.
About the Role
Become a part of the team that works together to achieve targets and create a fantastic shopping and dining experience for our valued customers old and new.
This role includes becoming a team member in the bakery/café as well as our main shop. We are very passionate about taking care of our customers to make sure they are happy, so a can-do attitude is vital, along with the candidate having a positive outlook on life.
You will be working in a high energy environment; the candidate must be able to work well under pressure.
The business runs 7 days a week, which includes weekends. You will be also willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved in other departments throughout the business, don’t worry you will be given plenty of training and support.
This role includes making local deliveries and helping out with Goods in/out, as well as generally assisting with other Warehouse duties.
A clean driving licence is essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 9 per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
