This is an opportunity to use all of the skills you have developed and build, then scale a supply chain function in a well-funded and growing company who are developing the next-generation of diagnostic products. This means you’ll be given consistent opportunities for growth and to shape the function.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining Biocrucible supply chain and logistics, including planning, forecasting and developing processes at 2 Biocrucible sites in Cambridge. One is R&D the other is manufacturing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Supply Chain:

• Forecasting, demand planning and management of supply chain; support forecast process with contract manufacturers.
• Analyze supply chain data and solve any issues, oversee expenditure on procurement platform.
• Work with departmental leads to understand medium- and long-term requirements, liaising with Finance for budgeting purposes.
• Assist in development and utilization of procurement platform for inventory/stock management.
• Create BOM (Bill of Material) for device within procurement platform. Assist with extraction of data from existing ERP into new platform.
• Act as point of contact for procurement platform to the rest of the company (assist with general enquiries, purchase orders, work orders, sales orders etc.)

Logistics:

• Develop processes to support the internal transportation of products.
• Working with logistics company to arrange international shipments.
• Overseeing Good-In processes at both sites.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Working knowledge of growing R&D or product development companies.
• Comfort with risk and ambiguous situations.
• Experience of working within a laboratory facility or with laboratory products.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others working cross-functionally.
• Strong planning, time management and problem-solving skills.
