You will work as part of the Multi Functional Team to define the sourcing strategy ensuring that it fulfills the Single Aisle programme ramp up needs and ensuring the evolution of the Single Aisle product to ensure it remains attractive to the market.
You will have the ability to represent the A320 programme and to take decisions within your perimeter (e. g. supplier selection, project prioritization). In this regard you will be responsible to manage suppliers in terms of cost, claims, performance and risks.
As the #SARU A320 Programme Manage you will be responsible specifically for Fuel and Inerting systems.
In this role within the organization, you will have to consider and represent all parts of the Single Aisle Programme team in the Multi Functional Team (e. g. Chief Engineering, Development).
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
Define and Implement the Multi Functional Teams Strategy in line with the A320 Family strategy.
Select suppliers.
Manage Suppliers in terms of RC, NRC, Claims, Performance and Risks.
Prioritize, Enable and support Procurement Multi Functional Teams Projects.
Additional tasks are linked to this Multi Functional Teams role, such as:
Leading some minor mods in the Multi Functional Teams perimeter.
Leading MIP (Major Industrial Problem) resolution in the Multi Functional Teams perimeter.
Leading crisis resolution (including QSRs) from the Multi Functional Teams when they cannot be contained and put aircraft deliveries at risk.
Managing supplier demand with the support of a sub-contractor.
ABOUT YOU
Educated to BSc level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
A strong background gained within the aviation industry or another comparable industry such as Automotive.
Previous Programme Management experience
Knowledge and experience gained within Fuel Systems
