The Company has an opportunity for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join the team in our Birmingham Office. As a SAP ABAP Developer you will be required for supporting business operations and new development.
The individual must have worked on 2 full life-cycle SAP implementations and be familiar with SAP systems in 3 tier landscapes. Need to be a hands on ABAP expert have the ability to debug complex programs, work unsupervised and under strict timelines.
It is recognised that this will be an evolving role with new skills being acquired in due course. You will be developing and deploying SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. You will be expected to collaborate with business partners, influencing the process within your specified area.
The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis hours between Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm. We offer an excellent package which includes a highly competitive remuneration; pension, and 25 days holiday plus public bank holidays.

The Role:
- Deliver development services from across the Company portfolio in a fast-changing environment
- Drive the industrialisation of services delivery and the implementation process
- Understand and practice value-based fit to standard delivery approach
- Ensure customer success, satisfaction, and reference ability in SAP projects
The profile
- Experience of implementing ABAP Programming, preferably Object Oriented.
- 5 years min Experience of SAP ECC6.0 and S4Hana experience
- Experience with a selection of other development objects, for example Function Modules, Data dictionary objects, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, Web Services Gateway oData Services, CDS Views, ABAP for HANA, Smartforms, Reports and performance tuning.
- Strong customer focus with good client facing consulting capability as roles are working collaboratively with our clients
- Playing an active part in Process Improvement, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality processes and procedures, including completion of all the specified quality records
- EDI skilled from start to finish implementing new vendors and customers when required.
