Chase Erwin is a luxury boutique textile brand with a flagship showroom on the ground floor in the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour and a Head Office based in Battersea.
Our Sampling and Production Assistant will be working closely with the Head of Operations and CEO to assist with our brands’ sampling requirements and sales tools production.
This is a very diverse role assisting the CEO and Head of Operations on various aspects of the business relating to production. We hope that the right candidate will be able to adapt and grow with the business, taking on more responsibility within the Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production planning for sales tools, such as sampling, books, and showroom/marketing collateral.
- Working with Sampling Department to ensure sampling stock levels are maintained.
- Liaising with pattern book and sample manufacturers.
- Quality control of all sampling and sales tools production.
- Dispatch samples and sales tools to our global partners.
- Liaising with off-site warehouse regarding stock fabric dispatch for sampling and sales tools.
- Product sampling development, striving for innovation and a strong brand story as well as maintaining operational efficiency and cost control.
- Identify and implement streamlining processes for production development.
- Ensure all internal systems are up to date with product information.
- Assistance with shipping and duty management when required.
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge and a keen interest in textiles.
- Exceptional administration skills.
- Analytical skills and data-driven approach to ensure a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel for production planning and critical path
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at one time.
- Ability to self-manage and implement processes and systems.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, efficiency and streamlining techniques would be advantageous.
- Flexible and comfortable with change management, as this is a fast-growing business, within a well-respected, luxury brand.
- Positive attitude and ability to think creatively and flexibility to get involved with tasks at all operational levels.
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships.
- Good knowledge and awareness of UK/EU fabric standards, textile trends/ developments and innovations.
- Knowledge of commercial invoicing and International Shipping processing.
- Knowledge of Mertex is welcomed.
