Jenny Packham are looking for a highly organised Sampling Administrator to join our Team. You will be working across the Design, Technical and Production teams, helping maintain the flow of information between all departments.
Key responsibilities
- To assist Sampling Manager with the smooth running of the Sampling process, from Design through to Production.
- Work closely with Sampling Manager and Production teams on the process of each Collection.
- Help maintain the Critical Path across all Collections from Design handover to Production handover.
- Liaise with factories based in the Far East, India and Europe on a daily basis.
- Liaise with factories monitoring progress of the Collection each week.
- Purchasing of Raw materials for In-house samples, special projects etc...
- Liaise with Sample room Assistant on purchasing of any Sample Room stock required (toiling materials etc…).
- Maintain The Sample Bible across all Collections.
- Maintenance of Sampling Intranet system to keep the flow of information moving across all departments.
- Maintain the log of all Samples created in each collection.
- Monitor invoicing of all Samples created.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies along side Sampling Manager to book extra staff as and when needed during the season.
- Help maintain the Sampling budget for each collection alongside Sampling Manager.
Experience, Skills & Attributes.
- A practical mindset, good at problem solving with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude.
- Good organisational skills are a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
- Methodical and well organised with a good eye for detail.
- Computer literate, with confidence in using MS Office suite (Word, Excel etc)
- Adobe creative suite is a must, any PLM system experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and people skills, good at building inter-departmental relationships.
- A collaborative and flexible approach to work alone but also as part of the wider team.
