The position
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Salesforce developer to be part of our company’s Animal Health Technology Solutions IT team. Your main responsibility will be to enhance and maintain our Salesforce CRM instances. Our Salesforce CRM instance (with Zuora CPQ) is used globally. We are continuously developing and expanding the platform with new features and additional species. Salesforce is used by both internal sales teams and external customers.

What will you do?
Your primary activities include (but are not limited to):
- Program using Salesforce SFDC, force.com, Java, JavaScript and XML.
- Configure, customize and program with Apex API’s, Apex Triggers.
- Deploy new releases from development, testing, training and production environments.
- Refresh sandbox environments to facilitate agile working practices.
- Create integrations between Salesforce and different business system platforms.
- Manage custom data models and objects.
- Create design documentation and testing scripts and methodologies.
- Work with the training team to produce training materials.
- Work with our Salesforce administrators managing flows, creating and updating reports/dashboards, page layouts / dynamic layouts.
- Edit and customise objects/fields/record types and validation rules.
- Support the introduction of Salesforce Experience Cloud alongside our existing Sales, Service and Field Service modules.
- Meet with internal stakeholders.
- Work with internal and external Salesforce developers and architects.
- Perform data anonymization/cleansing and end-to-end testing.
Your qualifications, experience and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related subject.
- Salesforce developer certified.
- Demonstrable experience building Salesforce solutions and configurations whilst working as a development lead.
- Experience conducting technical process reviews, testing documentation, and UAT scenario’s.
- Experience with integrated deployment strategies.
- More than 3 years' experience working with Salesforce in a developer capacity.
