We are currently seeking two enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Belfast as Clearance Outlet Team Members. If you enjoy a mix of interacting with customers, a physical role in a warehouse, and elements of a sales position then this is an exciting opportunity for you to grow your retail career!
A bit more about the role
As a Clearance Outlet Team Member, you will be an integral part of our outlet operations. You will assist customers, maintain the outlet's appearance, and contribute to creating a pleasant shopping experience for all visitors. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing outlet environment by restocking products.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and providing accurate information about product features, prices, and promotions.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist with stock replenishment as directed by the Outlet Manager.
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets by upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Handle customer enquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues to the Outlet Manager or our customer service team when necessary.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge and special promotions to provide customers with accurate and relevant information.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention measures and health and safety guidelines.
A bit about you
- Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Basic maths skills and familiarity with cash handling processes.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)/ General ICT experience
- Flexibility to work Saturdays
- A good understanding of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body
