Wesgroup is poised for significant growth over the next few years and in preparation for this exciting and challenging phase, we are actively seeking a highly engaged, driven and experienced Senior Brand Designer to join our team.
The Senior Brand Designer is both a strategic thinker and a skilled executor who will play a pivotal role in shaping Wesgroup’s brand identity. As a multi-disciplinary senior designer, this role will report to the Vice President, Brand & Communications and will lead Wesgroup’s visual brand identity, including refining and upholding our visual language, establishing comprehensive brand guidelines, and spearheading the design of all brand-related materials.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and execute the design of all brand-related materials, including marketing collateral, advertising campaigns, website assets, social media graphics, and other visual elements across various channels
- Develop brand guidelines to maintain brand consistency and define visual standards and principles for logo usage, typography, colour palette, imagery style, and other visual elements
- Set creative direction for a variety of brand initiatives leveraging editorial, video, audio, etc.
- Shape Wesgroup's brand identity by translating values, positioning, and audiences into visual elements and design choices that reflect and enhance our identity
- Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, agencies, and freelancers to ensure the visual brand language is consistently implemented across all touchpoints
- Provide leadership in developing and implementing innovative brand strategies to meet business objectives
- 8-10 years of design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating skillful storytelling and expertise in visual design and branding across a variety of mediums
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Innovative creative vision and the ability to lead and inspire others
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to understand business goals and translate them into creative solutions
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines and internal client expectations
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and present ideas to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
