Intertek is a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide. Our network of more than 1,000 laboratories and offices in more than 100 countries, delivers innovative and bespoke Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification solutions for our customers' operations and supply chains.
Intertek's Caleb Brett UK business provides quality and quantity measurement, inspection, and laboratory testing services to the global oil, gas, petrochemical, petroleum refining & distribution, natural gas, biofuels, marine, and chemicals industries.
Due to growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Executive to develop leads for Intertek Caleb Brett’s business in the UK. The primary focus will be to increase sales revenue for the business through contact with new and existing clients with the support of the UK team.
The Role:
- Maintain and develop the company CRM system to provide an accurate up-to-date source of information about prospective clients and customer details
- Grow sales of the Caleb Brett business in the UK by exceeding targets
- Make contact with Caleb Brett clients to gain feedback and to identify other potential opportunities for growth
- Develop market knowledge to understand potential client groups and the relevant decision makers to target and develop relationships
- Dealing with incoming customer enquiries arriving by e-mail, web or phone
- Qualifying enquiries/leads
- Visiting Intertek and client sites if required
- Maintaining the client contact database
- Developing an awareness of other business lines to allow cross-selling of services
- Develop relationships with all Caleb Brett businesses to understand the services we provide
- Work closely with the marketing team to deliver on the marketing plan
Key Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Be confident talking to customers
- Strong administration skills
- Able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to learn and pass on technical knowledge about our services
- Full UK Driving licence

In this opportunity, you’ll be joining our Caleb Brett team. This will be a remotely based position with some travel across the UK.
