About the Job
What you'll need to be willing to do a wide variety of tasks. No 2 days will be the same. You can expect to undertake tasks such as:
- Attending customer demonstrations
- Giving and attending customer pitches
- Answering questions from prospective customers
- Writing documents such as case studies
- Tracking orders and investigating shipping delays for customers waiting on products
- Answering questions from existing customers with faulty or unwanted products
- Processing customer sales, quotations, purchase orders, refunds and returns
- Performing data entry duties with regards to sales figures, metrics and other key data
- Updating customer records with new contact details and notes on support interactions
- Making follow-up contact to inform customers of new or improved products
About the Company
HausBots are a robotics company focussing on designing and building robots for inspection of industrial assets. Our customers are usually chemical companies, cement manufacturers and transport infrastructure.
We are a Venture Capital backed startup with 10 people today but growing rapidly. This is an opportunity to get wide exposure across the business and learn very quickly.
We are hiring an Office Administrator to help support building our wall climbing robot for inspection and maintenance.
Based in Stirchley, Birmingham you will work closely with our Chief Operations Officer and the other 10 members of the team and have an input on all parts of our business and technology. At a startup, you get real responsibility.
Requirements
- Organised
- Competent with excel, basic maths
- Ability to demonstrate strong written skills
- Able to be based in Birmingham
- Comfortable in an unstructured/ startup environment. If you like rules, regulations and processes, HausBots is not for you.
- NICE TO HAVE: Sales experience
- NICE TO HAVE: A basic level of engineering knowledge or a desire to learn
