Role purpose:
By being part of our sales team you will help to grow IoT revenues and margin through direct and overlay sales using Vodafone’s IoT Product portfolio and Connectivity. You will become the primary sales lead and thought leader for IoT opportunities and work closely with the account team and vertical in order to develop and manage a range of customers by understanding their business, the challenges they face and developing a solution that helps them overcome those challenges. You will be an engaging personality type and use your empathetic nature to lead a conversation based on successful business outcomes.
You must be highly motivated, engaging, thoughtful and have a desire to make change.
With us you will:
- End-to- end solution sales of transformational IoT services into UK Corporate Business companies, requiring a strong understanding of customer needs and strategic objectives.
- Development of strategic initiatives to support growth of the IoT Business in the UK driving NB TCV
- Deep understanding of key market verticals to enhance targeted campaigns. Support strategic IoT campaigns, gaining support from other business areas to include Marketing, Vertical Market Development, PR, Channel Sales, etc. to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
- Engage and develop IoT partner ecosystem to enhance Vodafone's position and offering in the UK. This should support improving market positioning, creation of joint GTM campaigns and enhanced service offerings or propositions.
Apply if you have:
Experience with strategic planning and solution selling, with experience in transformational deals & driving TCO and process improvement for customers- Deep understanding of market intelligence and vertical focus
- Confident communicator up to to C-Level with external stakeholders.
- Excellent internal stakeholder engagement including coaching and leadership skills
- Hunter mentality to build pipeline drive new business opportunities
- Experience of selling in a B2B software / telecoms/IT environment
- Proven track record in corporate / multinational corporate B2B business
- Comfortable in negotiations up to C level
- Passion for IoT and the new business opportunities it offers our customers
- Customer outcome focused
