SALES ASSISTANT Newark Store
We are currently seeking a pro-active, results driven Sales Assistant to join the WiseGirls team in our Newark Store. If you would love to be part of the team who provide world-class service, then we would love to have you join us.
Permanent / Fixed Term: Permanent
Hours: 20hrs per week 10am - 2pm (5 Days, Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri & Sat)
Store Location: Newark-on-Trent
Overtime: Available
Salary: £10.42ph
THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Assistant, offering a part-time contract for 20 hours per week. Sales Assistants work on set days, this includes weekends and Bank Holidays. Our Sales Assistants are our brand ambassadors, and the essential link between our products and our customers. Our Sales Assistants lead the success of the store by influencing sales, excelling in customer service, and sharing their knowledge of the product and brands. The store teams shape the look, feel, and atmosphere of their store.
Our store teams must demonstrate the ability to apply our Company values of Pride, Passion and Performance to their position. They are expected to use the values to help the business reach its vision, in accordance with the strategy.

Ideal candidates will have:
1. Strong selling skills, with experience in a sales environment with 1-1 sales experience preferable
2. Excellent communicator – Sales Assistants needs to initiate contact and communicate confidently, so articulate spoken English is essential
3. A positive, “can-do” attitude, an individual who enjoys as working as one part of a successful team
4. Customer focused
5. Flexible approach; work weekends and Bank Holidays. Also overtime available when covering staff holidays/sickness.
6. Physically sound, with the ability to perform heavy physical activities occasionally
7. Ability to meet up with targets and deadlines
8. Possess organizational and management skills
9. Ability to pay attention to details
10. Possess leadership and decision-making skills
11. Possess planning and time management skills
12. Ability to work effectively despite pressure
