At a glance

This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the London/ Head Office. However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises.

The salary range for this role is set at £35,600.00 - £50,800.00

Customer

As an analyst with a customer focus and a Partner in our business, your number one focus is to work collaboratively to create more value for our customers and our business.

Operational Analytics

The work is focused on pricing strategies, forecasting sales, measuring availability and lost sales, and helping to shape the category strategy for Waitrose, as well as looking at end to end stock-flow processes and efficiencies.

Both Roles sit within our Analytics and Data Science profession you will be known for your technical expertise, delivering actionable insight based on sound data analysis; and integrating multiple sources, to improve productivity, profitability and customer experience. You will have the opportunity to develop and stretch personally and professionally to achieve your potential.

Essential Skills

• Relevant qualification and/or analytically-based experience

• Experience in coding, preferably in SQL, R or Python

• Knowledge of Big Data, data visualisation and data manipulation

• Highly numerate and analytical

• Retail experience would be helpful but not essential
