Job description

Summary of role

As a Trade Sales Agent you will have good communication and relationship building skills, building a rapport with new and existing customers. You will make calls to potential new trade customers, outlining to them the services and products we offer.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Promote the Trade brand by providing information about products and services we offer to trade customers.
  • Build relationships with potential and existing trade customers
  • Obtain new trade customers
  • Be responsible for managing personal daily performance in line with the personal and teams daily target. Using feedback to assist with this.
  • Upsell products to trade customers.
  • Ensure the company's reputation is maintained at all times
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure trade order processes run smoothly.
  • Track ranges of interest we don’t stock.
  • Keep track of products and services competitors offer to ensure we provide the best service possible.
  • Maximise pre-order sales and ensure trade customers have everything they need to provide pre-releases to their customers.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Follow processes in line with SOP documents.
  • Complete priority tasks.
  • Identify, communicate and escalate issues affecting the team, its processes or service levels.
  • Interact and work successfully with all departments to ensure company goals are met
  • Provide feedback to colleagues and other depts re performance and issues affecting service, reputation and customers.
  • Attend with full participation, quarterly 1-2-1’s with supervisor, setting personal targets and development areas with the opportunity to learn new skills and complete any training required to maintain effectiveness within the role in line with the teams skills matrix.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous B2B sales experience
  • Strong account management skills
  • Existing contacts/network within the tabletop, toys and games industry a plus
  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including patience, empathy and listening skills
  • Good personal organisation and time management skills
  • Strong team building skills - building relationships with internal and external customers enhancing the company’s reputation and working environment.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Can work well within a team or by themselves
  • Flexible
  • Ability to remain focused and self-motivated

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
