Internal Sales/Customer Support
Location: Cradley Heath. Birmingham

Job Purpose
We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as an Internal Sales/Customer Support Person, to deliver an effortless customer experience, whilst developing and building relationships with our customers based across the Midlands.
Key Accountabilities
· Respond to customer inquiries effectively and efficiently
· Ensuring quotes have been completed within in a timely manner
· Provide accurate and relevant information about products, services, pricing, and promotions.
· Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and returns, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process.
· Handle and resolve customer complaints and concerns with empathy, patience, and a customer-centric approach.
· Identify and understand customer needs, recommending appropriate products or services to meet their requirements.
· Build and nurture strong working relationships with customers to enhance their loyalty and satisfaction.
· Regularly communicate with customers to provide product updates, promotions, and industry insights.
· Liaising with external suppliers, sourcing products and availability where necessary
· Support branch external sales teams and trade counter
· Assist in company stock take procedures as required
· Adherence to company health & safety standards and specific site requirements
Key Skills and Behaviours
· Exceptional knowledge of Engineering Cutting Tools, Abrasives and PPE Products
· Proven experience in a customer support or sales support role.
· Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages and bespoke databases
· Resilient and able to overcome challenges
· Initiative-taking attitude with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
· Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
· Experience of working under pressure and in a demanding environment
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
· Able to prioritise and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
· Able to identify opportunities for further business development
· Self-motivated with a dedicated approach
