Hire type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract, maternity cover. Full time

About i-Swap:
i-Swap is TP ICAP's award-winning electronic trading platform for OTC interest rate derivatives, providing advanced trading functionality across Dealer to Dealer and Dealer to Client markets in EUR and GBP Interest Rate Swaps.
The i-Swap MTF operates low latency, high-throughput exchange technology for clients including tier 1 global investment banks and inter-dealer brokers.
Role Overview:
The role entails working within a highly focused team participating in the sales, marketing, design and operation of i-Swap, TPICAP’s electronic trading platform for OTC interest rate derivatives. The successful candidate’s attributes should include exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent time management and prioritisation, ability to work in a pressurised environment & a proven track record in eCommerce sales.
Role Responsibilities
  • Participate in i-Swap sales & marketing to i-Swap customers
  • Client training of the i-Swap front end
  • Regular client visits and engagement with customers to encourage usage of the platform, to obtain their system feedback and to gather competitive intelligence
  • Regular client contact to provide update on i-Swap statistics, making clients aware of new initiatives and keeping them informed as to how they can extract value from the platform
  • To build and nurture excellent relationships within our client base – Traders, eCommerce, Business Management
  • Proactive in bringing new users to the platform
  • Represent i-Swap in external industry-led conferences
  • Strategically structure sales pipeline when working towards achieving the targets
  • Participate in the design and testing process of new software releases
  • Participate in market control & trade/client issue resolution
Experience / Competences
Essential
  • Good knowledge of financial markets, electronic IRS marketplaces and venues and e-commerce technology
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate client feedback clearly and concisely
  • Self-motivated, setting an elevated level of professionalism and excellence
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with brokers, clients, team members and adapting style accordingly
  • Confident, diligent, enthusiastic and proactive
