Timber Now are the UK’s fastest growing timber importer distribution hub based in Wickford. We sell products such as timber, plywood, OSB, chipboard, sleepers, decking as well as many other garden products to trade customers across Essex, Kent and London, with plans to expand nationally in the near future.
Across the leadership team, we have years of industry experience and are a company built on ambitious individuals who are looking to progress with the company as it grows. Due to our ambition and drive to continue growing, we are looking to add a Retail Sales Assistant to our sales team in order to further grow our client base.
This role will be based in our Wickford sales office.
Retail Sales Assistant
The role will consist of dealing with all inbound retail enquiries and processing all website orders, as well as liaising with returning customers to offer them the best possible service. There will be an opportunity for the successful individual to have input into the running of the website and looking at how we can maximize its success. It is absolutely vital that for this role you are able to build strong rapport and develop long lasting relationships by being an expert in the field – which you will be trained on extensively.
To be suitable for the position you must be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. If you put the work in, you will be rewarded.
You will report directly to one of the Directors and there will be full training offered. Experience within the timber industry is not necessary.
As the company continues to grow, opportunities may arise to progress into a more senior position within the business.
