Hybrid role - YOU MUST RESIDE IN ONTARIO - meaning you must live in ONTARIO!!!!!!
( 2 to 4 days per month in office following training)

You will act as a liaison, provide product and service information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. You will reactivate old accounts, complete sales to existing accounts, and cold call on Independent Grocers and Butcher Shops and Deli’s for new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process orders by phone, email or in person
- Liaise with the various departments to ensure awareness of the incentives and promotions being offered
- Promote sales to existing and potential clients
- Cold calling on new business and new distribution venues
- Submit reports as required and proposals to illustrate the benefits of goods or services
- Adapt communication styles to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals
- Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research
- Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating to the appropriate individual as deemed necessary
- Keep up-to-date records on sales calls and customer contacts in a timely manner in the format required
- Relay customer quality improvement suggestions for company products and services
- Experience in Outside sales dealing with grocery stores, butcher shops and or food service
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Proven sales ability with capability to meet and surpass targets and goals
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Ability to quickly pick up new product and service knowledge, and communicate that knowledge effectively to customers
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management
- Be able to drive to visit customers 1 – 2 days a week
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Hybrid work environment (in office during first few weeks of initial training, following in office 3 to 4 per month)
- Experience within the food industry specifically protein ie. Beef, Pork or Chicken
- Outside sales and cold call experience
- Able to implement solutions to general and specific customer concerns
- Able to work in fast-paced environment, meet time deadlines
- Good organizational and record keeping skills
- Able to speak and communicate effectively with customers and employees both verbally and in writing
- Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good problem solving ability
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
