Stevens Industrial Services, the UKs largest independent supplier of abrasives and associated industrial supplies are looking to recruit a Trainee Representative. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be required to visit customers, report on the ongoing situation, collect orders, respond to enquiries and liaise with the sales office. Experience of industrial manufacturing, especially the metal fabrication, welding and woodworking industries would be useful but not essential as training will be provided. The position would suit somebody wishing to progress from being "hands on" within a factory environment to the world of sales. Full training will be provided in regard to products and applications of Abrasives and Adhesives.
- Develop relationships with new and existing clients.
- Confer with clients and company personnel to resolve problems.
- Maintain professional and social business relationships.
- Develop proposals to promote the value of services provided by the organization.
- Negotiate terms of contracts with new and existing clients.
- - Manage resources and evaluate costs.
- A company car will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
