Job description

One of the UK’s leading exporters of food and drink produce, exporting an exceptional product range to businesses worldwide is currently on the look-out for a Sales Support Advisor to join our team!

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first point of contact resolution to customers through all access channels for all enquiries and provide professional advice and assistance relating to the delivery of the organisation's services to ensure the demands of our clients are fulfilled to the highest possible standards, and will monitor sales orders from start to finish, working with buying team and warehouse to ensure that the order is shipped to the client on time and fulfilled.

Job Responsibilities:

-Work closely with clients to identify their different needs, providing information and solutions to best meet their requirements

- Work as a team to ensure any queries from clients and Sales Managers are resolved promptly, whilst ensuring that the sales team procedures are followed at all times.

-Prepare quotations to an agreed standard and have a good understanding of
the background behind the quote in terms of inco terms, margins and
supplier.

- Ensure that air and sea orders are uploaded and invoiced efficiently and in a timely manner.

- Be proactive to ensure that forms are up to date or adjusted where necessary, checking for any anomalies such as poor margins and unavailable lines.

- Monitor sales orders from start to finish, working with buying team and warehouse to ensure that the order is shipped to the client on time and fulfilled.

- Ensure that all order requirements are completed before the shipment is due to leave and consignment documentation is sent to the client within the agreed timescales.

- Liaising with the relevant Sales Manager to ensure claims are resolved in a timely manner.

- Maintaining appropriate levels of attendance, ensuring that procedure is followed for any absence, working extra hours to complete tasks if required.

- Establishing and maintaining an excellent level of teamwork
