The Company:
Smallridge Bros Ltd is a successful John Deere tractor and agricultural machinery dealer operating 4 depots across Devon and Cornwall. The business employs a large sales force to cover the region and promote our products to new and existing customers.
The Smallridge Bros sales department continues to grow, and we are looking for an area sales person, based at our Barnstaple depot, with responsibility for the area to the South of our Collabear depot, to meet our growing demands in an area immediately south of the depot.
- A hands-on approach
- A good understanding of farm machinery and agriculture
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and a basic understanding of agricultural technology (manufacturer training will be provided)
- Be a self-motivated individual who can build long term relationships with customers
- Have a willingness to learn and embrace new technologies
- Have an ability to solve problems in a timely manner
Some sales experience / negotiating skills are an advantage but training will be provided for the right candidate.
