Job description

Selene Marine UK has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive, this a development role leading inhouse training will be provided for successful candidate.

Sales Executive to cover the UK & EU region to help develop and retain new clients for an exciting new product line and provide required support.

Any exposure to selling Navigation & Communication products or maritime Software solutions with the maritime sector would also be beneficial but not mandatory.

Selene Marine has developed an inhouse marine information systems. Our Fleet Management solutions software suite is in use on ships and shipowners’ offices all over the world.

Selene Marine is leading distributor for Maritime Navigation and Communication products.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of related business work experience in Sales
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and presentation skills
  • Able to develop comprehensive forward looking plans and execute against them with both strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Team player with a positive and dynamic personality
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to travel if required

Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for working primarily involved with sales of Navigation and Communication Products , to follow up with customers after creation of Sales Lead.
In addition, they will:

  • Identify and generate new prospects and convert them into key accounts
  • Making effective outbound calls with key decision makers Identifying new sales opportunities
  • Customer visits when required with the aim of securing new business and prospects for further business
  • Attend Maritime Exhibition and represent our company
  • Develop and manage customer targeting and sales pipelines
  • Understand customers needs and feedback to Product Development
  • A natural ability to build customer rapport
  • A highly motivated pro-active self-starter The ability to manage time and workload

Salary: £18,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
