We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Transformation Programme Manager to join the team. You will be supporting the Head of Data, CCB and Head of Business & Change Management, CCB to deliver the CCB Data Transformation Programme whilst ensuring alignment with CDO, CTO and CIO. You’ll be part of a great team of forward thinking, customer focused, ambitious individuals, determined to maximise our investment in technology and continue the digital and data transformation that will ensure CCB is leading the way for both our clients and colleagues. No two days will be the same, this role promises to give you the chance to develop a variety of skills including strategic thinking, senior stakeholder management, developing partnership relationships and engagement with multiple internal stakeholders to deliver and embed our data transformation projects successfully.

Reporting to the Head of Business & Change Management you will be part of a customer and colleague focused team, passionate about simplification, digital transformation and data led solutions and insight.

The difference you’ll make.

  • Managing, delivering, and reporting the Data Transformation projects currently in flight for CCB and providing regular updates to key stakeholders, inputting or leading on governance requirements
  • Working with the Change Team to ensure reporting and budgets are kept up to date.
  • Updating and leading working groups/ steering committees where needed, overseeing delivery of key milestones and budgets.
  • Supporting the Head of Business & Change Management, Head of Business Management & Credit Enablement with data driven insight, potential solutions, or innovations for consideration.
  • Leading the way as a role model for data transformation and successful change implementation.
  • Reviewing the data projects and providing post implementation analysis where appropriate and ensuring coordination and joined approach is achieved across CCB.
  • Working with colleagues in CTO, CIO and CDO to ensure a collaborative and joined up approach is achieved with sharing of best practice facilitated wherever appropriate.

What you’ll bring.

  • Foster a data driven culture and Santander CCB’s mindset, promoting the use of data and data science solutions as an enabler for transformation.
  • Solid knowledge of data industry standards, laws, and business drivers, preferably in the financial sector.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Ability to translate the overall functional strategy into programmes / operational plans.
  • Experience in managing technical and/or specialist teams.
  • Degree in computer science or other technical programme with exposure to Change Governance.
  • Strong problem solving and process improvement skills, as well as strong Data Management and Data Analytics knowledge.

This is a 24 month fixed term contract based at any one of our Head Office locations.

  • Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus
  • We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
  • 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
